Curb Appeal
First, look at the exterior of your home, your "curb appeal". What jumps out at you? What features seem hidden? Considering your "curb appeal" can help identify simple projects that will help to draw buyers from the street into your home. If your home's exterior isn't inviting, try touching up the paint, trimming the shrubbery or planting flowers.
Welcome Home
Does your place seem to say, "Welcome Home" to a buyer? I'll tour your place from a buyer's perspective and advise you of fixes to improve your home's appeal to buyers.
I'll advise you to de-clutter if necessary. Table and counter tops should be clutter-free. We'll simplify the decor of your home. It's hard for buyers to see past messy or cluttered areas. We'll work together to create an inviting atmosphere.
I know how to show off your homes' best features. I'll help you identify pieces of furniture that should be put in storage, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint and any other improvements that can inexpensively be made to positively influence the sale.
We'll make sure your home has appeal to a large pool of buyers. If your home is vacant, you can consider staging. The goal is for your home to feel warm and look homey.
Setting the Stage
I'll advise you if an Open House is in your best interests. Simple things like opening curtains, and turning on all the lights are helpful when a buyer is planning to look at your home. Playing soft music and adding potpourri can assure a homey feel. We want buyers to feel like your current house has the potential to be their next home. |
